Meet The Skipper

Rob started working on Blue Turtle at the end of the 2009 season and bought the business from Doug Lanfear in 2010. He is a keen diver with hundreds of UK dives logged as well as some foreign diving. He has dived quite a number of the local wrecks but ever since buying a dive boat has found little chance to dive other than getting ropes off props or retrieving lobster pots! Rob had an extensive handover period with Doug so knows the local diving well.

He is also a keen angler and counts his best catch as a bass of thirteen and a half pounds. In winter he crews on one of the local fishing boats when not running Blue Turtle.
